2024 Event Details

French Quarter homeowners are graciously opening their courtyards for viewing during a self-guided walking tour for this one day only event May 26th from 12:00PM-4:00PM.

The casual stroll offers a glimpse into how designers and residents take advantage of small spaces, adorned with greenery and flora to provide cool hideaways suited to the New Orleans climate.

Tickets may be purchased online for $35 which is fee inclusive or purchased the day of the event for $40.

Tickets may be picked up May 26th at The Cabildo in Jackson Square, 701 Chartres St, under the alcove from 11:00am – 3:00pm. Tour begins at Noon and ends at 4:00pm.

Due to narrow entrances, maneuvering strollers or wheelchairs may be difficult. Rain or shine.

This event is one of our major fundraisers for Caroling in Jackson Square.  Please join us for our French Quarter Holiday Home Tour, prior to Caroling. Is this a guided tour?

No, this is a self guided tour.  You will receive a map of locations and you can leisurely stroll through the Quarter at your own pace.

Can I buy my tickets the day of the tours?

Yes, although we cannot guarantee that tickets will still be available. We only sell a limited amount of tickets to minimize human impact in the courtyards. Buying tickets online guarantees access. Online ticket sales will end on the Friday, before the event at Noon.

In-person ticket purchases can be made at The Cabildo 701 Chartres St, at Jackson Square with cash for $TBD

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

None at all. Children are welcome to attend and those age 12 and under are admitted at no cost. Please be aware that strollers may be difficult to maneuver in some courtyards due to space limitations.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There are several parking options for the French Quarter, including street parking, pay lots, and various shuttle services.http://www.frenchquarter.com/parking-russian-roulette/

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No. We will have your name and number of tickets at the ticket pickup location ( ). Once we verify your name, we give you the appropriate ticket(s) and a map to the courtyards.

Are there refunds? What about rain?

Refunds (minus Eventbrite fees) are available up to seven days prior to the event. The self-guided tour will take place rain or shine.

Are restrooms available on the tour?

Restrooms will be available at one of the tour locations each day.

Can I enter the homes?

We are sorry but only courtyards will be available during this tour. Join us in December for our Holiday Homes Tour that will encompass home tours.
