Each year, a panel of Patio Planters judges boards the official judging vehicle and makes the trip through the Quarter in search of the best holiday decorations, stopping along the way for food and drink, of course.

Patio Planters encourages everyone to decorate and contribute to the festive atmosphere of the French Quarter. The winners are announced on our Facebook page.

• Best Commercial – Balcony
• Best Commercial – Window
• Best Balcony – design features balcony
• Best Door – Design features door(s)
• Best Window – Design features window(s)
• Best Residence – Design covers entire home
• Classic Mardi Gras – Best depicts “Mardi Gras”

Awards will be given for Winner, Blue Ribbon, and Honorable Mention
